Russell’s
passion for wood at an early age naturally developed into a career.
From learning the basics in his father’s workshop to leaving school
aged 16 and securing an apprenticeship, it wasn’t long before
Russell was leaving Technical College having achieved an Advanced
Level City and Guilds Certificate in Carpentry and Joinery.

Having developed his skills further whilst working for a shopfitting
and joinery firm based in North London, He decided to work for
himself and set up Woodgate Joinery in the summer of 1997.
Now based in Brent Pelham Hertfordshire and with more than 18 years
experience in the trade he has established a large customer base
covering North London, Hertfordshire and Essex.
Covering all
aspects of carpentry and joinery he is pleased to offer a reliable
and personal service that only a small business can provide.
Russell has a large and varied portfolio ranging from hand built hardwood
kitchens to the restoration of 100 year old sash windows (and most things in
between!). Working with good quality materials and taking “Craftsman’s
Pride” in every job customer satisfaction is paramount. Russell’s business
is built on the recommendation of satisfied customers.
